Alexander Capeneka was born and raised in the metro-Detroit area. Growing up, he found a need to express himself creatively in any way possible. Whether it’s on a stage, behind a camera, or in a sketchbook, he is always working on something new, because of this he has grown into a real Renaissance man.
At a young age, Alexander performed with the Michigan Opera Theatre. While there, he performed in The Magic Flute, H.M.S. Pinafore, Il Pagliacci, La Boheme, Tosca, and more. He attended Livonia Churchill High School where he was a student in the Creative and Performing Arts Program. In high school, he was a member of the University of Michigan Youth Ensemble Chamber Singers, and was an intern with the Rackham Symphony Choir. He is A graduate of the Ohio northern Class of 2019 with a B.F.A in Musical Theatre Performance with A minor in theatre technology and design.  At ONU, he has appeared in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, Romeo and Juliet, The Pirates of Penzance, Lysistrata, Metamorphoses, and Taylor 2 and the ONU Dance Company.
Starting at a young age, Alexander explored the many facets of design and art. He has built a passion for filming and editing content, from promotional videos made for productions put on by the ONU Department of Theatre Arts to weddings that he has been commissioned to document. He is an experienced studio artist, and applies these skills towards his other design endeavors. Throughout his time at ONU he has been given opportunities to explore scenic design, photography, videography, graphic design, web design, and much more.
Alexander is a proud Sigma Pi brother, A Theta Alpha Phi National Theatre Honorary Alumni, and a dedicated Little Monster and “twin” of Lady Gaga. He has a vigor for spreading love and compassion while celebrating creative freedom. As he continues on his life journey he hopes to continue expressing himself creatively and learning new ways of doing that.

“I’m half living my life between reality and fantasy at all times.” – Lady Gaga
