"love’s fire is a collection of short plays by American writers based on Shakespeare’s sonnets. this production included bitter sauce by Eric Bogosian, 140 by Marsha Norman, waiting for Philip glass by wendy wasserstein , and the general of hot desire by john Guare. the challenge of designing for four individual shows in one production was coming up with a universal space that all the different worlds of the plays could exist in. the thread that i found throughout the plays were literature and the sonnets. i used this to develop the space as well as the projections used in the production."
